  • Need to make a payment to one of the University Libraries? Visit our payments page.
Material Pickup
  • Art Library provides an option for students and faculty to request that the library pull an item and hold it for them. This is done via the library catalog. See instructions on requesting item for pickup from the Art Library.
  • Ekstrom Library provides an option for faculty to request items be held for pickup at the check out desk. This applies only to materials belonging to the University of Louisville Libraries; it doesn't apply to Interlibrary Loan materials. Material pick-up form.
Off-Campus Access to Databases
  • You can access the Libraries' web site and online catalog from anywhere on the Internet; however, only authorized users can access their My Library Account and library's subscribed resources from off-campus. Such resources include databases, electronic journals and electronic books, etc.
  • To access these resources from off-campus you'll need to login to the proxy server with your ULink ID and password.

  • Most of our libraries have rooms that can be reserved for group study, meetings, and library instruction sessions. Ekstrom Library also has an auditorium that can be reserved. Request a room reservation.

Study Carrels
  • Art Library: Faculty and graduate students may request a library carrel for research and storage of checked out Art Library materials. To reserve a carrel, contact artlib@louisville.edu.
  • Ekstrom Library provides semester-long reservations of study carrels for faculty and graduate students. These carrels are in high demand, so make your request early. Learn more about Ekstrom's study carrels.
Systematic Review Consultation
Wireless Internet Access
  • Wireless internet access is available on all three UofL campuses.
  • While in Ekstrom Library, if you have questions about wireless access, the REACH Computer Resource Center on the first floor is available to answer your questions. The tutors have been trained to provide general technical support and trouble-shooting for wireless issues. For additional support, contact the IT HelpDesk at 502.852.7997.
