Lost and Found

The Library assumes no responsibility for any lost items, but will take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the safety of found items until claimed or relinquished to University Police.

Laptop Computers Held for about two hours at the Circulation Desk. If not claimed, item will be delivered to University Police (ULPD).
Small personal electronics and USB Drives Items will be held until the end of each day then turned in to University Police (ULPD).
Medical Instruments Items will be held until the end of each day then turned in to University Police (ULPD).
Keys, Jewelry, Wallets Items will be held until the end of each day then turned in to University Police (ULPD).
Clothing, books/notebooks, food & drink containers, umbrellas
  • Held in the public lost and found table near entrance door and circulation desk.
  • These items will remain at lost and found table until claimed, taken to University Police (ULPD), or recycled/discarded at the end of each quarter.

University IDs Person on ID will be contacted via email, and card held at circulation desk for two days.  If not claimed, it will be sent to Cardinal Card office at Houchens Building Belknap Campus. 502.852.7520
Theft If you are the victim of theft, please report the incident immediately to the Circulation/ Reference Desk and notify University Police at 502.852.6111.
