Positive Exposure: Greg & Grant

Gregory and Grant are identical twins who were born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 26, 1997. They were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of two; and they have surpassed all expectations. Gregory successfully completed high school and is currently employed full-time as a lifeguard with Louisville Metro Parks. He is a passionate swimmer, having participated on the St. Xavier High School national championship team, and is currently a masters swimmer. Grant, who was born just one minute after Gregory, is nonverbal and utilizes an iPad application for communication. Both individuals share a keen interest in sports, hiking, gym activities, and travel. “They have brought our family more joy and knowledge than one can imagine. We have learned so much seeing life and living life through the unique perspectives of Gregory and Grant.”
