Positive Exposure: Breezy

I was born in Paducah, KY and have lived in Louisville since 2006. I’m a mother of two and a grandmother. My life changed on July 5, 2020 due to a spinal cord injury (SCI) from a car accident. Since then I have made myself uncomfortable to become comfortable in order to find a way to live my old life in my new body. Despite the challenges, I have earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. I have coached youth cheerleading and mentor other SCI survivors. I also founded Breezy’s Closet, a non-profit that provides supplies for SCI survivors at no cost. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends & family. I am proud to be your 2024 Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky.
