Elle's Story
Elle was born with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay. She uses a wheelchair and is nonverbal, but she’s also one of the most social little girls you’ll ever meet! She loves being part of a group, and when she is (which is almost always) you will usually find her at the center of it. Elle enjoys tossing balls, watching Cocomelon, and winning at Uno.
Over the years, we’ve had au pairs from around the world who have helped care for Elle, many of whom we remain close with. While we would never have wished for her condition, it has brought wonderful friendships from all corners of the globe into our lives.
