Web of Science: Accessing Web of Science

Learn how to use Web of Science for cited reference searching and finding journal impact factor, author h-index, and funding sources

Web of Science

Web of Science is a database that allows you to identify major journals in your field, find the impact factor of journals, calculate a scholar's h-index, conduct cited reference searches, and more. To access Web of Science, click on All Databases A-Z under Research Tools on the library homepage, then select Web of Science under W.

Click on Databases A-Z under Research Tools on the library homepage.


Under the letter W, select Web of Science


You'll be taken to the Web of Science homepage. If you're accessing Web of Science from home, you'll be prompted to enter your ULink ID and password.
