Fall Semester Hours

Welcome back to a new school year!

The Law Library will be open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday through August 16.

Beginning Monday, August 16, the Law Library will provide dedicated student hours for the fall semester, in addition to public hours 6 days a week. Entry to the Law Library building will require a current UofL Law School ID card from 6pm to 9pm Monday through Thursday, and from 1pm to 9pm on Sundays.

Law Library hours from November 1 - 30, 2021

  • Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm
    • law student hours 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Sunday 1:00pm - 9:00pm law student hours

Exceptions:

  • Wednesday, November 24 - 8:00am - Noon
  • Thursday, November 25 - Closed for Thanksgiving
  • Friday, November 26 - 9:00am - 5:00pm

Please remember that during law student hours the building may only be accessed with a law student ID.

These hours are subject to change, based on COVID-19 developments and concerns. Following University of Louisville guidelines, masks are required in the Law Library during the fall semester. For more information about library services in fall 2021, including remote access to services and resources, please see our COVID-19 information page.

Library employees are always available when the library is open to assist with renewing materials, legal research, and accessing materials. If you can't visit the library in person, you can always contact us via phone, email, or Teams. Find out more on the Intranet.
