Ekstrom Library Floor Plans: Digital Media Suite

Digital Media Suite

The Digital Media Suite (DMS) is a specialized computer lab that focuses on the design, creation, and production of digital video, sound, or images.  The DMS is a free resource open to all students, faculty, and staff of the University working on academic projects.

All the computers in the DMS have the complete Adobe Creative Cloud set of programs installed, including such apps as Photoshop and InDesign.  The DMS also provides access to recording equipment and 1-on-1 support during the creation and editing process.  In addition, the DMS houses video and audio recording studios, as well as a self-service video creation studio, called the One Button Studio.

The One Button Studio is a new resource for the Fall 2018.  In this recording studio, UofL students, faculty, and staff can create high quality video recordings without the need for specialized knowledge, skill, or support.  This studio space can be used to create video presentations, record interviews, create lecture content, practice public speaking, and more.
