SSRN provides open access to faculty research and publications. Articles in this month's UofL Law School research paper series focus on aspects of the judiciary, rape shield laws, and attorney-client privilege. Professor Manning Warren writes about the appointment of administrative law judges, while Professor Justin Walker works with law student Caroline Phelps to consider the whether Congress can constitutionally require federal judges to disclose their papers upon retirement. Professor JoAnne Sweeny also works with a law student, John Slack, to explore the history of rape shield laws and how they could be applied to sexting. Meanwhile, Professor Grace Giesel explores the question of whether parties in mergers should be able to include provisions related to control of the attorney-client privilege in contracts.SSRN logo
