SSRN Legal Studies Research Paper Series, Vol. 16, No. 1

SSRN provides open access to faculty publications and research. The Legal Studies Research Paper Series highlights recent work by faculty of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.

The first issue of 2023 includes an article by Professor Craig Anthony (Tony) Arnold and the Resilience Justice Project Researchers group of UofL Law School students that focuses on explores how resilience justice can be integrated into urban water planning. Professor Laura Rothstein contributes a piece that explores what can be done by medical school policy makers and administrators in response to the admission and enrollment of individuals with disabilities. Professor CJ Ryan's article provides a history of cy près, summarizes trends in these cases over time, and provides a unique fifty-state survey of the doctrine.
