Open the Zotero application on your desktop.
Go to Edit > Settings > Sync. Register for a Zotero online account. Enter your Zotero username and password to sync your desktop app to your saved library and the web version.
In your settings, go back to General > scroll down to the section Locate.
Copy and paste this link in the Base URL box: https://uofl.on.worldcat.org/atoztitles/link
Make sure that the Resolver is University of Louisville.
This is how Zotero will connect to UofL Libraries resources to find the full text.
You can create an open Zotero library or add multiple collaborators to a group library.
Go to zotero.org and log in with your Zotero account. Then, click on Groups in the menu at the top.
Click on Create a New Group. Choose a name for your group and select your privacy settings. You can create a public group that is open or closed, or a private group for only invited members.
Once you have created the group, go to Manage Members > Send More Invitations and add the email associated with your collaborators' Zotero account.
Now, your collaborators will see the group library in the desktop application and the web version.
If you're wanting to make the switch from EndNote to Zotero, you can import an EndNote library using a .xml file.
In EndNote, go to File > Export.
Save the EndNote Library file to Documents. Change the Save as type field from the default text file (.txt) to XML (.xml).
In Zotero, go to File > Import. Select A file > choose the .xml file for your EndNote library.
Your references will be imported!
However, the .xml file does not include attached PDFs. You will need to use the Find Available PDF option in Zotero to add the PDFs.
Please note that the free version of Zotero is limited to 300 MB, so it may not be possible to import your entire EndNote Library if your file size exceeds the limit.
