Holiday Banners in this guide created by Melissa Rothman (2022)
Happy Holidays from Ekstrom! Don't forget to check out a book to cozy up with during the upcoming winter break. In this guide, we've compiled selected works associated with common holidays celebrated in December and early January. Whether you are looking for a good book or film to celebrate your own holiday traditions or want to learn about other cultural holidays and traditions practiced during this time of year, we've got just the thing for you!
University of Louisville Libraries are committed to and supportive of student, staff, and faculty wellness. In response to requests for a dedicated prayer and meditation space, University Libraries have created a list of library spaces available to students, faculty, and staff for this purpose. These spaces are available for prayer and meditation and are open to those of all faiths or no particular faith. We believe that prayer is a human right and a protected right.
Prayer mats are also available for your use. In Ekstrom Library, prayer mats can be checked out from the West Desk with your Cardinal Card. Mats are available for in-library use and can be checked out for four hours at a time. A prayer mat is also provided in the Art Library conference room.
We also encourage you to visit the Dreishpoon Reflection Room at the Kornhauser Health Sciences Library.
