Google Scholar: Linking to Library Resources

Linking to Library Resources

Google Scholar gives you access to a multitude of scholarly articles, but you may be asked to pay for the full-text. By linking Google Scholar with your library, you'll automatically see a Findit@UofL link next to articles that the library has access to. Follow the steps below to access University of Louisville resources through Google Scholar when you're off-campus, and watch the Linking to Google Scholar video to see the steps in action.

Go to and click on Settings in the upper right of the page.

In Settings, click on Library Links on the left-hand side of the page.

Enter "University of Louisville" in the search box and click Search. Check the box next to University of Louisville - Findit@UofL, then hit Save.

When you search now, you'll se Findit@UofL next to many of the results. Click this link to access the article through the University of Louisville library.
