Data Repositories

Data repositories exist to store, preserve, and provide access to your research data. Some data repositories have specific requirements before deposit, which can include:

  • Subject specificity
  • Open access permissions including re-use of data
  • Metadata

Be sure to check the policies and/or terms of service of a data repository regarding terms of access and data re-use before constructing your own permissions for your data set(s).
