Digital Media Suite
As part of the Ekstrom Library Learning Commons, the Digital Media Suite (DMS) is a unit of the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning offering students, faculty, and staff access to equipment and support for the creation and editing of images, sound, and video. Visit its Audio or Video Studio to capture your vision, bring your ideas to life on specialized computer editing stations, borrow high-quality recording equipment for on-the-go creation, or receive guidance from knowledgeable staff to bring your media projects to fruition. Whether you prefer independent work or collaborative projects, the Digital Media Suite offers a vibrant environment for learning and experimentation.
LinkedIn Learning
The University of Louisville partners with LinkedIn Learning for new, on-demand content. LinkedIn Learning is an industry leader in online training, with a digital library of over 16,000 courses covering a wide range of technical, business, software and creative topics for both learners and educators. Sharpen your skills on your own schedule with expert-led instruction from any device, anywhere.
PLAN Professional Development
Offered through the Graduate School, PLAN’s mission is to support graduate student success in, through, and as they leave graduate school. PLAN supports graduate students by offering guidance, programming, consultation, and personal and professional development opportunities online and in person.
Spring Dissertation Writing Retreat
All writers currently working on dissertations are encouraged to apply. Offered by the University Writing Center, past retreats have included students representing a range of disciplines from Public Health to Engineering to Social Work to Humanities. Some of these writers had just begun writing, some were in the middle of their writing projects, and others were getting close to completing their dissertations. During the week-long retreat, writers will write daily for several hours; take part in short, writing-focused workshops; enjoy lunch; and meet with a writing consultant. There is no fee for participating. Participants must be willing and able to participate for the full retreat.
University Writing Center
The University Writing Center serves everyone in the UofL community, including undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff. It can help at any point in the writing process, from getting started with an idea, to working on a first draft, to revision and copyediting. If it involves writing, the Writing Center is happy to help.

Associations

The American College Personnel Association (ACPA) – headquartered in Washington, D.C. at the National Center for Higher Education -- is the leading comprehensive student affairs association that advances student affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery.

NASPA is the professional home for the field of student affairs. It is dedicated to fulfilling the promise of higher education through the guiding principles of Integrity, Innovation, Inclusion, and Inquiry. NASPA places students at the center of its work, serving the field through exceptional professional development, research to take on the biggest challenges, advocacy for inclusive and equitable practices and communities, and nurturing networks and pipelines to mentor, rejuvenate, and support.

Formed in 1976, the College Personnel Association of Kentucky (CPAK) is a state division of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). CPAK concerns itself with the professionals in the varied areas of student affairs, student services, campus life, academic support, and higher education administration throughout the state of Kentucky.
