Panel Participants:

Aaron Barnes is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Louisville College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business in 2020. Prior to joining UofL, Aaron spent 4 years running his own subscription company and 2 years at a consulting firm in New York City. Aaron’s research broadly addresses cross-cultural consumer behavior, judgment and decision making, and consumer–brand relationships. He teaches Principles of Marketing, Market Intelligence and Customer Insights, and Multiculturalism in the Marketplace.

 

 

 

Zack McKay, Louisville Athletics, Director of NIL Services & Engagement oversees UofL’s strategic NIL program. McKay serves as the primary NIL contact for internal and external stakeholders including student-athletes, coaches, staff, boosters, third-party individuals, and local businesses.  His roots in sports trace back to his undergraduate years at the University of Louisville, where he earned a B.S. in Sports Administration while also earning a M.S. in Recreation and Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University.

 

 

 

Henrietta Pepper has built a successful career in marketing and advertising spanning more than three decades, including owning and operating a successful brand communications firm for 14 years. After selling that firm in 2018, she founded GCJ Consultants, LLC and serves as Chief Strategist. Clients include organizations in the B2B, B2C and Non-profit sectors. An advocate of further education, Henrietta’s own educational background includes dual Bachelor degrees from the University of Kentucky and a master's degree from the University of Kentucky/University of Louisville Executive MBA program. A lifelong learner, she has earned accreditation from several leadership training and management programs, including Harvard University. She currently teaches graduate and undergraduate courses at UofL's College of Business. 

 

Dr. Telpriore Gregory Tucker is currently a commercialization manager at University of Louisville. He earned a doctorate in chemistry from Arizona State University and is also an HBCU graduate with honors from Tennessee State University. Dr. Tucker received the 2022 Presidential Award from the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists & Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) for facilitating outreach efforts in innovation and entrepreneurship serving underrepresented groups during the Pandemic. He is a published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals and a co-inventor on multiple issued U.S. patents for potential applications in the renewable energy market such as battery-powered consumer electronics and electric vehicles.

 

 

Tony Williams is a Louisville native and former University of Louisville Men’s Basketball standout and 10-year European professional player. In 2018, he decided to study to become a mortgage loan originator and began helping families achieve the American dream of homeownership. Tony is approaching his 5th year as a loan officer with InterLinc Mortgage and still loves serving the financing needs of families throughout Kentuckiana. Additionally, his bond with the University of Louisville and Louisville’s athletic program is as strong as ever, serving as a reminder of the pride he has being from the city of Louisville. In 2021, Tony embarked on yet another endeavor by successfully coordinating his first NIL project with his mortgage company and members of the University of Louisville Men’s Basketball team. Recognizing the transformative power of the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) movement, Tony founded One Touch NIL Group, LLC in February of 2022.
