In 2020, Louisville made national headlines after local and national organizing in response to the killing of Breonna Taylor inside her home by police officers. History is being made every day in Louisville as leaders work to empower their communities, to secure systemic recognition that Black Lives Matter, and to demand justice for Breonna Taylor and other residents of color.

These lists contain links to racial justice organizations in the metro Louisville area focused on educational, policing/criminal justice, and housing advocacy and food justice. We realize that these lists are not comprehensive. These lists should be viewed as starting points for those interested in racial justice and community organizations in Louisville.
