Melissa Rothman provides research and information literacy support to students in various disciplines and contributes to library initiatives focusing on student success, diversity, and communications. She is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable student experience across the university. Prior to joining the library, Melissa earned her Master’s in English at UofL and taught first-year composition for many years. Her research interests include subversive subcultures, feminist discourse, and humor as a driving force for social change.
