Melissa Rothman provides research and information literacy support to students across various disciplines and contributes to library initiatives focused on student success, diversity, and communications. She is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable student experience throughout the university. Prior to joining the library, Melissa earned her Master’s in English at the University of Louisville (UofL) and taught first-year composition for many years. Her research interests include subversive subcultures, feminist discourse, and humor as a driving force for social change. In addition to supporting undergraduate researchers, Melissa coordinates student-centered events aimed at fostering student success.
