In 1993, Kathleen Bean conducted a series of interviews with some of the first women to become involved in the law in Kentucky. Tapes of these interviews are available through the University of Louisville Oral History Center.
The interviews also formed the basis for the women's history display in classroom 177 in the Law School, and for the multimedia project titled "Connecting with our legacy : Kentucky's early women lawyers" which is available for loan in various formats at the Law Library enquiry desk.
The Kentucky Commission on Women puts together an annual exhibit at the state capitol titled Kentucky Women Remembered, honoring women who have made history in the state, including many influential women in the legal sector.
