CV Assistance

There are many resources that will assist you in automatically collecting citations to your work, including the following:

Westlaw & Lexis alerts in Law Reviews databases (in Westlaw go to Notifications > Alerts; in Lexis use the bell icon)
MyHein alerts (see Current Awareness box for link)
Create a Google Alert for your name, which can pick up coverage of interviews beyond the original source (see Current Awareness box for link)

Google Scholar Profiles
Set up profile to have your citation metrics computed & updated automatically as Google Scholar finds new citations to your work on the web.

Current Awareness, Legal News & Research

Most free and subscription databases provide options to set up alerts for saved searches, sign up to newsletters, or follow legal news on selected topics or cases.

Contact the law library for advice about how to set up alerts and unsubscribe from those you no longer need in your favorite databases.

Bloomberg Law
Create Docket alerts, sign up for newsletters, save searches, and more.

Chronicle of Higher Education
Click Sign In to register for an individual account using your louisville.edu email address for off-campus access & to subscribe to notifications.

Congress.gov
Sign In to create alerts for Daily Digests, legislation, and bills.
Federal Register (U.S. Government Printing Office)
Select the My FR tab to set up subscriptions for daily alerts to new regulations & notices for a specific agency or the whole FR.
Google Alerts
Set up alerts for Google searches.
Lexis+
Create Shepard's alerts, save searches, follow legal news, and more.
MyHein User's Guide
Set up an account to save searches, creating alerts & set up topical notifications on new law review articles.
SSRN Legal Scholarship Network
Subscribe to eJournals in a range of subject areas.
Westlaw Edge
Create KeyCite alerts, save searches, subscribe to legal news, and more.
