The links below list relevant government agencies as well as other relevant entities and NGOs that will help you contextualize your final paper. Many of these sites operate on the notion that you'll be doing keyword searches or hunting and pecking throughout their navigation to find what you need. These websites will include documents such as reports and publications, surveys, statistics, press releases, news, and so on, depending on the agency and the information they produce.

Below each link is a description of the organization, most of which are taken from their About/Mission Statement pages. These are extremely helpful to look for when looking at the website of any entity, and the existence of these types of pages is very helpful in establishing credibility. Credible organizations are transparent in their purpose.

Government Agencies

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
"The mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is to enforce the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States and bring to the criminal and civil justice system of the United States, or any other competent jurisdiction, those organizations and principal members of organizations, involved in the growing, manufacture, or distribution of controlled substances appearing in or destined for illicit traffic in the United States; and to recommend and support non-enforcement programs aimed at reducing the availability of illicit controlled substances on the domestic and international markets" (Mission).
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

International Criminal Court
"The International Criminal Court (ICC) is an independent, permanent court that tries persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The ICC is based on a treaty, joined by 123 countries (effective as of 1 April 2015)" (ICC at a glance).
International Money Laundering Information Network
Established by the United Nations in 1998, IMOLIN is " an Internet-based network assisting governments, organizations and individuals in the fight against money laundering" (About Us).
INTERPOL
"At INTERPOL, we aim to facilitate international police cooperation even where diplomatic relations do not exist between particular countries. Action is taken within the limits of existing laws in different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our Constitution prohibits ‘any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character'" (Overview, Neutrality).
START - National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism
"The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism—better known as START—is a university-based research and education center comprised of an international network of scholars committed to the scientific study of the causes and human consequences of terrorism in the United States and around the world" (Overview). Contains both publications, data, and other research.

Countering Terrorism - NATO
A topical page provided by NATO that focuses on background information of countering terrorism and current involvement/partnerships in doing so.
Global Terrorism Database
Created and maintained by the University of Maryland and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, this database includes information on terrorist events from 1970 - 2014.
International Crime Database
"The International Crimes Database (ICD) website, hosted and maintained by the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in The Hague and supported by the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice and the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism – The Hague, offers a comprehensive database on international crimes adjudicated by national, as well as international and internationalized courts.

In addition to case law on international crimes, the website incorporates general background information about international crimes, scholarly as well as news articles, working papers (ICD Briefs) and relevant links to other useful databases/websites on this topic" (Project).
World Drug Report - UNODC
"The World Drug Report provides an annual overview of the major developments in drug markets for the various drug categories, ranging from production to trafficking, including development of new routes and modalities, as well as consumption."

International human rights-focused NGO.
Art Loss Register
"The origin of the ALR was The International Foundation for Art Research (IFAR), a not-for-profit organisation based in New York. In an attempt to deter international art theft, IFAR established an art theft archive in 1976 and began publishing the “Stolen Art Alert" (About). While a private database, there are case studies freely available.
Coalition Against Trafficking in Women
"CATW is a non-governmental organization that works to end human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of women and children worldwide. CATW is the world’s first organization to fight human trafficking internationally and is the world’s leading abolitionist organization" (Who We Are).
Coalition for the International Criminal Court
"The Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC) includes 2,500 civil society organizations in 150 different countries working in partnership to strengthen international cooperation with the ICC; ensure that the Court is fair, effective and independent; make justice both visible and universal; and advance stronger national laws that deliver justice to victims of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide" (About the Coalition).

Human Rights Watch is an NGO focused in promoting human rights around the world and working with governments to promote policy that reflects their efforts.
