Video Collections

Ekstrom Library houses two separate video collections. All videos are available for UofL undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff to watch at one of our television stations (equipped with DVD players, VCRs, and a region-free DVD player; headphones are available for checkout at the desk and a group viewing room is available for groups of three or more).

The Student Government Collection is funded by the University of Louisville's SGA and contains more than 3800 titles on DVD and VHS. UofL undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff may check out up to three titles from this collection for five days at a time with no renewals.

The Ekstrom Collection contains more than 2000 titles on DVD and more than 5000 on VHS and is available to UofL undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff to watch at one of our television stations. In addition to watching films in the library, UofL graduate students, faculty, and staff may check out up to three titles from the Ekstrom Collection for three days at a time.
