Conservators

If you have an art object that you wish to have cleaned, repaired, or otherwise conserved, you will need to consult a professional art conservator. Bridwell Art Library does not have a conservator on staff and therefore is unable to provide art conservation. Below is a list of professional conservation organizations.

• American Institute for Conservation
  • The American Institute for Conservation (AIC) is the leading membership association for current and aspiring conservators and allied professionals who preserve cultural heritage.
     
• Atlanta Art Conservation Center
  • The Atlanta Art Conservation Center (AACC), a nonprofit organization and subsidiary of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center, treats objects ranging from family photographs, antiques, and heirlooms to some of the most important paintings, sculptures, and works on paper in the Southeast.
     
• McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory
  • McKay Lodge Art Conservation Laboratory, operating The Ohio Conservation Center on the outskirts of Cleveland, is a large and diverse art conservation and historical preservation company providing fine art conservation.
