As a part of the University of Louisville, the records of and about Louisville Municipal College originate in a number of different offices and units. In some cases, the material was transferred to the University Archives and Records Center in discrete, LMC-focused accessions. Those accessions have been combined into a single collection, titled "Louisville Municipal College Records," and described and linked below. In other cases, records relating to LMC are contained within sets of records that relate to other units. For example, there are records for LMC students within accession 1973-236, "Veterans' Affairs Files." These accessions are listed below, with information about how much LMC-related material is contained in the accession. There are also LMC-related collections that are not specifically LMC records. For example, the Simmons University Records contain LMC-related material, and George D. Wilson's papers include records from his service at LMC. Again, an effort has been made to explain below what is available through these sources.
