Edition limited to 25 copies, signed by the artist., Art Library has copy 8. I have always loved nursery rhymes and history being a renaissance artist. This tale is about Blackbeard the pirate around the late 1700's. I chose the structure to open as it does after the earlier pop-up board books. I have since decided to do another version as well being it is such a rich tale. I love the engineering and the artistic aspect of moveable books and since my work is usually so classical it allows me to loosen up a bit as well as use my love of math. — from 23 Sandy Gallery website, viewed May 1, 2023.
