We are always seeking energetic students to assist with the day-to-day duties of the library. Student Assistants working in the libraries gain valuable research skills and experiences that can be useful throughout their college career. They also gain work skills that can enhance their future career interests.
Our hours of operation provide a wide range of flexible working opportunities, which allow students to work around their class schedules. Our student assistants are assigned a variety of duties and responsibilities so at any given time we may need students to work at the front desk or in the processing area.

Students in the Music Library work in a variety of positions including desk duty, stacks maintenance, listening services, technical services, and special projects. Keyboarding, attention to detail, organizational skills, familiarity with audiovisual equipment, and basic computer software skills are preferred. Students work an average of 10 - 15 hours per week.
