What is a Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC)?

PTRCs are libraries officially designed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as centers providing the public with patent and trademark assistance.

PTRCs instruct patrons in the use of publicly available USPTO resources, such as patent and trademark database search tools.

PTRCs cannot offer legal advice or conduct searches on a patron's behalf.

Kornhauser is the only PTRC in Kentucky
