Finding Book Reviews: Home

Locating Book Reviews

To locate a book review you need:

  • Title and/or author of the book
  • Year of the book's publication

If you need to find these, try using the UofL Libraries Catalog.

Search Tips

Book reviews are included in many of the databases that UofL Libraries subscribe to, including those listed on the left. You'll need to narrow your search results down to just reviews.

Here are some ways to find just book reviews:

  1. Include the term "book review" as part of your search. Ex.:  Bluest Eye and book review, OR
  2. Use the advanced search and limit the document type to book review, OR
  3. Do a search on the book title/author and then look for a Filter or Limit section on the results page and do your limit to book reviews from there.
