Transfer Guidelines for Faculty Papers

Faculty papers should complement the University Archives & Records Center’s departmental and administrative holdings. The strongest papers demonstrate the teaching, scholarship, and outreach missions of the University of Louisville. Faculty papers can also speak to the individual’s involvement or impact in scholarly, civic, ethnic, religious, or other communities.

For full retention requirements, consult the University Records Retention Schedule. If you have additional questions about faculty papers, please contact Records Management by email or phone (852-8789).
