Known Issues

Phrases in a different language should be in a span or div with a lang attribute.

Due to the way the database is designed, we don't currently have a way to add the appropriate language tag to sections of the text that are in a language other than English. We have alerted the database developers of the issue.

The CSS outline or border style on this element makes it difficult or impossible to see the dotted link focus outline.

We have used alternative means to ensure that links are clearly indicated when the focus is on them. The error message arises out of some CSS in the system developer's code. We have alerted the database developers of the issue.

Link uses general text like 'Click Here' with no surrounding text explaining link purpose. Link text: Text

"Text" is one of the options under the Media Type category. In this context, where a user might choose "Image" or "Text" the word conveys a specific meaning.

This link is broken. The target anchor does not exist or is commented out. (In reference to a link in the universal viewer.)

The programming for the universal viewer generates this link when the page completes its load. The accessibility checker tends to find the link before the program finishes running.
