Understanding Scholarly Sources

1. How can we tell that this article is scholarly? Open the article in a new tab and write down any scholarly characteristics that you notice on your notecard.

2. Scholarly articles are typically organized into sections, and you'll see many of the same sections in each scholarly article you explore. Work with your group to analyze the information provided in your assigned section of the article. What is the purpose of this section of the article? What information does it provide to the reader? Look over your section, chat with your group, and post your response here.
