Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program

The Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) is free or low-cost health insurance for children. KCHIP is for children younger than 19 who do not have health insurance and whose family income is less than 213 percent of the federal poverty level. For example, a family of four can earn up to $50,801 a year and qualify for KCHIP. Source: Commonwealth of Kentucky.
