The original work consisted of 39 etched glass panels depicting wild grasses indigenous to southern California, such as gooseberry, fountain grass and mugwort. The panels were commissioned for the balcony staircase of the Mission Valley Library (California). This book was created of digital prints on velum paper. The front and back covers are made of handmade Japanese paper, with dried plants collaged on the front cover. — correspondence with the artist.
