How to Access Course Reserves

What are Course Reserves?

Course reserves are any materials (but usually readings) that a professor makes available to the students of a particular course in the library. To find out what is on reserve for a particular class you can search the Course Reserves section of Minerva, the library catalog. It is searchable by professor's name, department or course number.

Print Course Reserves

After checking the catalog, go to the checkout desk of the library which is holding the course reserves to check out the item. While check-out periods vary from 2-hours to one week, most reserves with a check-out period of less than a day must remain inside the library building during that time.

Online Course Reserves

Sometimes readings are made available electronically. When you find these items in Minerva the location says "*Electronic Reserve". To view the item, hit the "Please click here to access Blackboard for your electronic reserves. " link. At that point you will be prompted for a userid and password. Enter your ULINK userid and password and blackboard will open automatically.
