SSRN provides open access to faculty publications and research. The Legal Studies Research Paper Series highlights the latest work by faculty of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
In this issue Professor Justin Walker argues that the future of how the federal government makes national policy in the U.S. will change as the Supreme Court adds new life to Schechter’s non-delegation doctrine, severely limits Chevron, and rolls back Humphrey’s Executor. A pair of articles related to a recent symposium held at Brandeis School of Law examine structural inequality in the U.S.. Professors Powell and McNeal join together to summarize this symposium, and Professor Powell provides an essay examining two books on the issue. The final article, by Professor Levinson, Attorney Rutledge, and several Brandeis School of Law students, addresses the issues raised when drafting by-laws for a consumer and worker-owned food cooperative under the Uniform Limited Cooperative Association Act.
