The Johns Hopkins Evidence-based Practice Center (JHU EPC) was established in 1997 as a charter member of the 11 EPCs currently supported by the Effective Healthcare Program (EHC) of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
