Form: Book Holds, Recalls & Searches

Book Hold: A request that the library keep a book for you at the check out desk. This is used when someone else has the book checked out and you would like it held whenever it is returned.
Book Recall: A request for a library book which has been checked out to be returned as soon as possible.
Search: A request that the library staff look very thoroughly for an item that was not located on the shelf where Minerva indicated it should be found.
Claims Returned: A request that the library staff look very thoroughly for an item that the patron firmly believes to have already been returned but is still charged to the patron's account. If a thorough search does not produce the missing item, the patron is still responsible for the charge to their account.
