Trade publications (also called trade journals or magazines) are written for working professionals in particular trades or industries. Articles from trade publications can provide insight into the activities and responsibilities associated with your chosen field, as well as information about current trends, issues, and debates.
In most cases, trade publications are not focused on original research and are not peer-reviewed. Although they provide information for a specialized audience, trade publications are more accessible to novices than peer-reviewed journals.
