The Metropolitan College Computer Lab (MCCL) is not just another computer lab filled with technology. If you are up to speed on the latest computer hardware, software, or Internet offerings, you’ll find the freedom in the Metropolitan College Computer Lab to experiment and explore on your own. But, if you are one of those people not sure about using a program or are perhaps somewhat intimidated by the Internet, the Web and technology in general, you will find that our friendly people make the difference! We have a staff of specially trained lab consultants who can help you solve a problem or answer your questions. Not sure how to cut and paste that text file? No problem.

The Metropolitan College Computer Lab is conveniently located on the main floor of the Ekstrom Library on the UofL Belknap campus. The lab offers easy access and comfortable, open workspaces that are especially designed for students wishing to work in small groups. MCCL is your collaborative workspace for learning and creativity!

Found that Web page you’ve been looking for but now you want to preserve it with a printed copy? Finished your research paper and ready to edit your final draft on paper before you turn the assignment in? The MCCL has fast printing services available at the counter of our CopyIT Center. Black and white laser copies are 10 cents a page while color copies are also available at a charge of $1 each.

The MCCL has color printing services available at the counter of our CopyIT Center. Black and white laser copies are 10 cents a page while color copies are also available at a charge of $1 each. The MCCL also offers a scanner with Paper Port and Omni-Page Prow with OCR Text and Auto Document Feeder (ADF) capabilities for students who need to scan, retype a paper, or to load information that must be sent via the internet.
