Deadlines
Coursepack orders containing copyrighted materials typically require at least 8 to 10 weeks processing time prior to the start of term. Requests submitted after the deadline will most certainly result in delays in the availability of your order.

*** Copyright automatically protects an enormous range of works under current law. Most coursepacks will likely contain copyrighted materials. However, in some cases copyright has expired in the works placing them in the public domain. Works produced before 1923 in the United States, for example, are in the public domain and the duration of copyright has ended. This duration chart at Cornell University is helpful for addressing public domain possibilities. You also may have created the work yourself and thus own the copyright, or at least in cases involving your published works, you retained rights to make them available for educational or other purposes. The latter outcome typically depends on specific language in your original publication agreement.
