Company Profiles & Reports

These databases and print resources provide overviews of American companies. Remember it is much easier to find information on companies that are publicly traded on a U.S. stock exchange than those that are privately owned.

Business Source Premier
Select Company Profiles from black bar at top of page. Enter company name in box or browse alphabetically.
Hoover's Company Profiles
Type company name in search box at top or click Look up Companies/organizations next to Company/organization box under More search options.
Nexis Uni
Click on Search by Subject or Topic drop down arrow at top. Select Market and Industry Reports under Companies. On the next screen click on the Advanced Options drop down arrow under the main search box. Select Hoover's Company and Industry Reports from the right hand column. Click on red Apply box. Enter an industry name in the large search box and click Search.
