About Citation Styles

Citations styles are referred to Output Styles in EndNote. These styles which include, APA and MLA, are used to document the research you have cited from and are placed in the in-text citations, footnotes, or bibliographies.

When you download the software several come pre-loaded. To view the list of Output Styles in your EndNote Library go to Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager.

There are over 5,000 Output Styles that can be downloaded from the EndNote website.
